Class struggle is back on the agenda in the USA. Workers at Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, and elsewhere are beginning to organise and unionise. Workers and youth are becoming increasingly radicalised – looking way beyond the Democrats and left-wingers such as Bernie Sanders and are instead openly identifying as ‘communist’.
These developments have important implications for the perspectives for world revolution. A mass movement of the working class in America, the biggest imperialist power on the planet, would send shockwaves across the globe.
