Why do we need a Marxist newspaper?
Under capitalism, the media will always remain a weapon of the ruling class, used to attack the labour movement and to discredit socialism. The working class must therefore be armed with its own press – a Marxist press – to provide a clear class perspective in the fight for revolution.
That is exactly why we produce Socialist Appeal every fortnight. Each issue is packed with articles covering Marxist theory and history, analysis of events in Britain and internationally, as well as reports from the struggle, written by Socialist Appeal activists on the ground.
